Dead Rising 2 Combo Card Weapon Guide

Location of Card:
Recieved by leveling up somewhere between levels 40 - 50

Location of Components:
The Blitzkrieg is gotten by combining a Light Machine Gun with an Electric Chair or a Merc Assault Rifle with an Electric Chair.

A Light Machine Gun can be gotten by purchasing it from Just in Time Payday Loans in the Royal Flush Plaza Moe’s Moenatorium from Fortune Plaza. One can also be found on top of the center structure in the Yucatan Casino right near the Zombrex. Also it can be found on top of Cash Gordon’s, the shop in the Platinum Strip, none too far from the elephant figure.

The Electric Chair is tricky to get since you have to make one to get it. This requires a Wheelchair and a Battery to assemble. To find the parts please consult the part of this guide that covers the Electric Chair.

Descriptions of Weapons
This is probably one of the most enjoyable weapons in the entire game. Chuck plops his butt into the wheelchair and can then ride around, blasting away at enemies with its dual machineguns. You have a good hundred or so bullets with each gun, totaling up to 200 shots. Since you’re riding around at a fair clip zombies have a fairly hard time hitting you and your guns tear through them like a hot knife through butter. Ride around, gunning down zombies as you go to rake in a whole lot of PP. be mindful not to waste ammo on anything but a large crowd.

Notes: This is a heck of a good time!

Location of Card:
Head over to the Silver Strip and look just outside One Little Duck Bingo to find the Fortune Whisperer machine. Put a total of $1,210,000 into the machine to get this card.

Location of Components:
Getting this is as simple as combining a Bull Skull and Motor Oil.

Bull Skulls can be found by going to the food court. There you simply need to head to the BBQ House and you can find several of the skulls attached to the walls outside of it.

Motor Oil is pretty easy to get a hold of it just requires some backwards logic. Make your way over to the BBQ House in the food court. There you can find one outside on the decking and another inside. Otherwise your best bet is to check the maintenance rooms for some.

Descriptions of Weapons:
You run around and head butt things to death with a flaming animal skull, what’s not to like? Sadly this thing is pretty slow to attack, has very low range and leaves you quite open to enemy reprisals. If you’ve got the combo card you can use the secondary attack to make it much more useful but it’s still going to be fairly hard to use this without getting whacked by zombies repeatedly.

Notes: An interesting weapon but too slow.

Location of Card:
Gotten by leveling up somewhere between levels 20 - 30

Location of Components:
This beast of a weapon is comprised of a Sledgehammer and a Fire Axe, both easy to get weapons.

Sledgehammers are easily gotten from a rather accessible place – When leaving the safe house and walking past the maintenance room the next short hallway will have a sledgehammer right near a box. This is one of the most reliable places to find them although, as you can guess, they can be found scattered around the malls.

The Fire axe is as simple as going back to the safe room since there’s always one near the big sealed doors you came in through and another near the stairs going down. Others can be gotten from around the mall but there are very few places where you can just pick up two of them.

Descriptions of Weapons:
One would imagine that strapped a fire axe to a sledgehammer would create a monstrously powerful weapon. You would be quite right. The way this weapon works is as a somewhat sturdier version of the sledgehammer, taking wide swings that will splatter every zombie that it comes in contact with. It does a hell of a lot of damage to psychopaths as well… if you can actually freaking hit them with it. Since most every hit will stagger the psychopath you can do a lot of damage but most of them will use a melee attack to knock you down you ASAP making this a dubious method.

Notes: Deadly but far too slow.

For this you’ll want to combine some Dynamite with a Hunk of Meat

Dynamite is gotten by going to Royal Flush Plaza and make your way to the Fortune Plaza exit. Just before the exit doors are some trees near the stairs that go up to the second level. Go up, jump onto the palm tree and pick up the two pieces. They can also be found inside some of the maintenance rooms although this is uncommon, notably being present in the maintenance room on the second floor of Palisades Mall.

You can get Hunks of Meat by taking them from zombies. These are the various hands and arms that zombies walk around chowing down on.

Descriptions of Weapons:
Whenever you throw a hunk of meat at the zombies it will distract them and cause them to stop to eat it. By sticking a lit piece of dynamite in that hunk of meat you get to make a fantastic party favor that will blow a whole group of zombies’ sky high. That’s about the only real purpose that this weapon has – clearing out groups of zombies. But unlike other explosive weapons this one is hard to use with survivors around since they will sometimes decide to go over and push a zombie near the explosive, taking a huge amount of damage from the explosion.

Notes: Only helpful when escorting survivors.
