Dead Space 3 Awakened DLC due in March
Darkest hours of the necromorph-infested series
Dead Space 3 is barely out of the oven (don't burn your tongue, read our review first) but Electronic Arts has already announced its first DLC. Dead Space 3 Awakened will be dark and horrible and nasty and it's going to be great, EA says.
"In Dead Space 3 Awakened, gamers will experience some of the most disturbing content they have ever seen in a Dead Space game--they are going to love it.” executive producer Steve Papoutsis said in the announcement.
Awakened will hit Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Origin in March for $10.
We don't know any more about the DLC yet. But if it's anything like Dead Space 2 Severed, the new content will be fairly substantial, and perhaps depict another character's story in the creepy universe.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
