Look, I know you're getting tired of the Deadpool 2 Cable casting rumors. Everyone from Keira Knightley to Stephen Lang to Brad Pitt has had their name in the hat for awhile now, but that's all come to an end. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmation that the role of Cable will go to none other than… *drumroll*... Josh Brolin.
Yeah. The guy who plays motherh*cking Thanos. And considering the fact that Cable is a Marvel character (whose film rights are owned by 20th Century Fox) and Thanos is a Marvel character (whose film rights are owned by Disney), there's no way the Merc With A Mouth doesn't comment on that:
The fuck, Fox! You can't play 2 characters in the same universe!! Josh Brolin was in Sicario and I was in Sabrina The Teenage Witch. pic.twitter.com/AQCRp1aWKgApril 12, 2017
According to THR, this means that the film can finally move into full production in June. With Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, and now Josh Brolin as Cable, we've got our trio of heroes fully assembled and ready to kick ass and beat down the fourth wall.
