How to complete the Destiny 2 Aspect of Destruction quest in Beyond Light
Unlock your another Stasis aspect by completing the Destiny 2 Aspect of Destruction quest
The Destiny 2 Aspect of Destruction quest will get you your second Stasis Subclass Aspect, but you'll need to complete Born in Darkness Part 4 first. Titans can spawn special Stasis Shards by shattering crystals, Hunters will can create a slowing pulse when dodging, while Warlocks can instantly freeze nearby enemies when casting a Rift. However, getting these Destiny 2 Aspects will require you to destroy all nine Entropic Shards, which can be quite a time-consuming task. Here's everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 Aspect of Destruction quest to get through it as quickly as possible.
Destiny 2 Aspect of Destruction quest
You can collect the Aspect of Destruction quest from the Exo Stranger immediately after you have completed part 4 of the Destiny 2 Born in Darkness questline. The two steps you need to complete are:
- Destroy all remaining Destiny 2 Entropic Shards on Europa.
- Go to the Crux of Darkness in Riis-Reborn Approach and commune with it.
While the earlier Destiny 2 Beyond Light Aspect of Control quest tasks you with destroying five Entropic Shards, Aspect of Destruction requires you to destroy all nine of them. That should leave four left for you to get, and hopefully you remember which ones you've already destroyed. As a reminder, you need to fire a grenade from Salvation's Grip - that's the Beyond Light Exotic Grenade Launcher that is unlocked in a quest from Drifter - at each Entropic Shard to destroy them.
However, if you have already destroyed all nine Entropic Shards, this step will auto-complete and you'll skip straight ahead to the next one. Since the shards are account-based, this skip also applies to any other Destiny 2 characters that you have, making these quests much easier for your other Guardians.
Destiny 2 Riis-Reborn Approach Crux of Darkness
With all nine Entropic Shards destroyed, you're ready to begin the final step in the Aspect of Destruction quest. Head to Eventide Ruins and take the north gravity lift up to Riis-Reborn Approach. Follow the path through the ramshackle Eliksni city and when you get to the first pair of diverging paths (in the building just after you cross over the bridge), you need to take the upper path to the left. Follow the route and then drop down into a large hall where the Crux of Darkness is floating. As you've done before, approach the Crux commune with it, clear out the enemies, and then you get your second Stasis Aspect.

Destiny 2 players were right: Bungie confirms an issue "in our code" making some god roll guns harder to get, and says it has already identified a potential fix
Denied their crafting fix, Destiny 2 players got so unlucky that they started conspiracy theories about the MMO's drop rates, and got so loud Bungie had to correct them
