Destiny 2 - Nessus Chest Locations

These are the locations for all the hidden Destiny 2 chests on Nessus.

Nessus The Cistern Chests

There are three Region Chests and one Lost Sector in The Cistern.

Region Chests

1) In the eastern part of The Cistern is a tunnel above ground made of Vex materials. Kill the Fallen inside and look for the golden chest on a ledge high up on the eastern wall.

2) In the middle of the area, on the land bridge connecting the eastern and western halves of The Cistern, there is a large Vex construct on the south side of the path. Climb until you see a laser emitting across the structure. Near the western emitter is a Region Chest.

3) North of the area in the northwest of The Cistern where Public Events spawn is a sphere embedded in the ground. Inside is a chest.

Lost Sector Chests

1) The Conflux Lost Sector is under the bridge connecting the northwest and southwest part of The Cistern together. Inside you'll find Cabal. Kill them and take their loot.

Nessus Watcher's Grove Chests

There are three Region Chests located in Watcher's Grove.

​​Region Chests

1) To the east of the large circular area Public Events occur is a gold chest on a cliff.

2) East of the large circular area, at ground level, is a series a pillars standing in bottomless mist. Jump across them and you'll find a region chest on the furthest to the east.

3) West of the circular area there a big glowing "eye" on the wall. This chest is on a tall pillar near the eye.

Nessus The Tangle Chests

There are three Region Chests and one Lost Sector Chest in The Tangle.

Region Chests

1) Southwest of the northern exit on the west side of the chasm is a chest tucked into a corner at the top of the plateau.

2) Near the western wall, in the northeast part of the area, you'll find this chest east of a broken globe on the ground on the western side of a pillar.

3) You'll find this chest out on a large tree branch in the southwest part of the area.

Lost Sector Chests

1) The Ancient's Haunt Lost Sector is just off the road in the northwest part of The Tangle. Head in and defeat the Vex to grab the chest.

Nessus Artifact's Edge Chests

There are three Region Chests and one Lost Sector Chest in Artifact's Edge.

Region Chests

1) Head directly north from the fast travel spawn and look at the base of the wall.

2) Just north of the crashed spaceship in the south of the area you can find a gold chest against the east wall.

3) On the west side of the nose of the crashed spaceship you can find this chest.

Lost Sector Chests

1) To get to The Orrery Lost Sector, look for an entrance on the north wall west of the exit to The Hallows. Inside is a Hex Major who holds the key to a chest.

Nessus Exodus Black Chests

There are three Region Chests and one Lost Sector Chest to find in the Exodus Black region.

Region Chests

1) Head north from the fast travel spawn point. In the northeast of the area, among some rock formation sits this Region Chest.

2) In the eastern part of the Exodus Black region, you'll find a path leading east out of the area towards Sunken Cavern. Follow this path until you find a blue portal and check the stairs beside it to find this chest.

3) Tucked on a plateau to the northeast of the fast travel spawn lies this golden chest.

Lost Sector Chests

1) To get to The Void Lost Sector head east from the fast travel spawn and look for an entrance in the boundary wall. This Lost Sector is straightforward and you should have no problem defeating the enemies inside and getting the chest.

Nessus The Hallows Chests

There are three Region Chests in The Hallows.

Region Chests

1) South-southeast of the giant hole in the ground, near the path leading towards Artifact's Edge, up on the cliff is a gold chest.

2) Drop down the giant hole to the underground area. Immediately northeast from your landing point is an alcove to which you can leap to find this chest.

3) Near the path leading to Watcher's Grove is a room with Vex inside. In the northwest of this area along the wall you'll see a gnarled old tree. Amongst its roots is a nook containing another golden chest.

Nessus Glade of Echoes Chests

There are three Region Chests and one Lost Sector Chest in the Glade of Echoes.

Region Chests

1) You can find this chest in the extreme southeast corner of the area.

2) North-northeast of the entrance to EX-077 Command are some cargo containers sitting by the dirt road. One of the containers on the east side of the road is broken in two. You'll find a golden chest inside.

3) On a plateau near the northwest wall you'll find another chest.

Lost Sector Chests

1) The Carrion Pit Lost Sector can be found smack dab in the middle of the map. Look on the north side of a decaying Fallen platform for the Lost Sector symbol, and head in the nearby entrance. Go down into The Carrion Pit and take out the Servitor to claim your prize.
