Deus Ex: Human Revolution to get 'Augmented' with special edition

For those of you hoping for an extra dose of rad with your copy of next year’sDeus Ex: Human Revolution, publisher Square-Enix may have just made your cybernetic day.

That purdy-looking set shown above is a limited edition gaming meal with all of the fixin’s, or at least most of them -the set includes a 40-page art book, soundtrack, making-of documentary DVD, motion graphic novel, and foldout slip case. It may notinclude a big resin helmet or anything, butit'll retail for $69.99, just a sawbuck more than the standard version.

Also of note are the pre-order bonuses. For thosenot shopping at GameStop, participating retailers will award early purchases with the Tactical Enhancement Pack, which is loaded with a Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper Rifle, and extra credits to spend in-game.

Those who pre-order fromGameStop will receive the Explosive Mission Pack, packed with a Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device, an automatic unlocking device, and an entirely new mission to play through, featuring a cameo by a character from the original Deus Ex.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution still has no firm release date, but it's expected to be out early next year, and pre-orders are now available.
