The developers have also decided to bulk up Vince's hand-to-hand repertoire with some new moves and a better dodge; there's also now a double-jump that makes it a bit easier to explore the levels. Square has also promised that the game is sped up compared to the Japanese version. If the result is the intermittent chugging and stuttering we experienced while playing it, we're not sure about that one. The weapon customization system, which brings RPG-like gameplay and depth to the FPS by allowing you to add different attributes, magical powers to your guns (and even level them up) remains unchanged, but nobody had a problem with that in the first place.
