Like its predecessor, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is bursting with references and Disney magic. Its sequel is set up to do the same--but with more singing and more Oswald. Disney today has revealed screens from Rainbow Falls and Rainbow Cavern, colorful locations that the dynamic duo must traverse through. Mickey and Oswald are able to jump into wells of invisible or indelible ink, which each have their own properties that allow the pair to sneak around or be impervious to things like, oh, liquid hot magma.
At a recent press event, Warren Spector took the stage to announce that there will be costumes that players can purchase or look for in the game, each with special abilities that can affect the person wearing it. Purchasable items will be located in a hat shop, and collectors should know that there will also be plenty of pins to find, and a pin shop to browse through them.
To make this a true Disney experience, there are also photo opportunity signs scattered throughout the game, so players can snap a shot and keep an album full of memories or share with friends via a photo shop.
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be released on November 18 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Wii, and Wii U.
