The Division's free beta waitlist will keep waiting for now
If you're on the waitlist for access to The Division beta, it sounds like you'll be waiting for a while longer. Ubisoft announced in a post to the game's official forum that "an unprecedented level of interest" in the beta means that it is unlikely to fling open the gates to non-pre-orderers any time today.
Access to The Division beta is guaranteed for folks who pre-ordered the game, so it's understandable that Ubisoft would want to avoid disrupting their experience by letting too many more players in at once - potentially messing up the servers. Or less charitably, Ubisoft may already have enough play testers to gather the data it wants, and thus doesn't mind holding back beta access as a carrot-on-the-stick to drive pre-orders.
At least you can watch Ubisoft stream the entire Division beta live without putting any money down. And if you do get your hands on a code by hook and/or modded out crook, make sure you read up on our The Division beta tips.

I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
