Basic's spread
After only 10 minutes into the game, Basic seems to have the clear advantage in terms of infrastructure. He has occupied most of the contested Mass Extraction Points on the east and west ends of the map and begins to pummel Eschez with a pincer attack.
Yet, despite being outnumbered and under constant threat from Basic's never ending lines of Tech 1 units, Eschez manages to hold off the rush attack and manages to maximize the usefulness of each of his units as he slowly climbs the tech tree.
Notice how Eschez brings his ACU into play to defend his base and build new structures while climbing the tech tree. Once Eschez manages to upgrade one of his land factories to Tech 3 and begins pumping out stronger units, Basic's blitzkrieg tactic screeches to a stop just short of Eschez' most critical structures.
