DOA Code Cronus goes 360
Dead or Alive game now confirmed for Xbox 360. Plus, Ninja Gaiden to be Tecmo's last Xbox game
Tecmo producer Tomonobu Itagaki has confirmed that hibernating Xbox title Dead or Alive Code Cronus will be shifted on to Xbox 360, where its development will continue.
Speaking to Japanese magazine Famitsu, Itagaki apologised for the delay of the game and went on to explain how he simply couldn't return to its Xbox development once he'd seen the power of Xbox 360.
First announced at the Tokyo Game Show back in 2002, DOA Code Cronus has endured three years of silent development. And with little information released on the game in this time, it seemed the project might have been slightly more than the current-gen hardware can handle.
However, despite DOA Code Cronus being moved to Xbox 360, Itagaki confirmed that Ninja Gaiden Black is still on course for current-gen release, adding that it and another game, Tecmo Classic Arcade, will in fact be the last Tecmo releases for current-gen hardware as focus turns towards Xbox 360.
