Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has a Disney Plus release date. The sequel to Doctor Strange arrives on the streaming service on Wednesday, June 22, and will be available from midnight Pacific/3:00am Eastern/8:00am BST

Now, that date and time may seem familiar – that's because the final episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi drops at exactly the same time, as does the third episode of Ms. Marvel. Essentially, you're going to want to stay up late/wake up early to catch all the new Marvel and Star Wars content arriving on Disney Plus. If you haven't, you can subscribe to Disney Plus right here.

Indeed, in a previous version of this very piece, we speculated that Doctor Strange 2 would follow in Shang-Chi and Eternals' footsteps and reach Disney Plus upwards of 70 days after hitting cinemas, which would have put its streaming release date in July. However, Disney decided Doctor Strange 2 deserved to be available sooner – and, in the UK, have even added the Spider-Man movies to the streaming service, so you can even catch Spidey's multiversal antics.

The Benedict Cumberbatch-led sequel has made over $900 million at the worldwide box office, and you won't have to pay anything extra to see the movie on Disney Plus. Interestingly, Spider-Man: No Way Home has still not found a streaming home in the US, though is available to purchase digitally.
