Doctor Strange broods in the Sanctum Sanctorum in new image
We're just under eight weeks away from the release of Doctor Strange, and Marvel will no doubt will no doubt be ratcheting up their marketing machine a few notches in the coming weeks as they get ready to introduce the MCU's newest hero. To that end, a tweet from Marvel's Russian division has given us another peek at Benedict Cumberbatch's titular character in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Check it out below...

Many of the promotional pics for Doctor Strange thus far have had Cumberbatch's hero in his New York based lair, and while this latest image is very similar to what we've already seen it does offer perhaps our best look yet at The Seal of the Vishanti (which protects the Sanctorum from mystical attacks). A fracture would be bad news for our heroes, but probably a lot of fun for cinemagoers looking forward to some mind-bending action. We'll see if Doctor Strange delivers when the film arrives in cinemas next month.
Directed by Scott Derickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange is released in UK cinemas on October 25, 2016 before opening in US theatres on November 4, 2016.
