Doctor Strange's new backwards trailer has more secrets when you reverse it
The latest trailer for Doctor Strange gives you a taste of the cognitive dissonance the good doctor must experience the first time he sees the world is not as it had seemed. Playing out both backwards and forwards, it includes several voice samples that are normally unintelligible…

For your reference, here are the formerly backwards lines:
Doctor Strange: "I'm ready."
Ancient One: "Open your eye!"
Ancient One: "You can become so much more."
Doctor Strange: "This is just the beginning."

Yes, the trailer both begins and ends with "This is just the beginning" - but it's only played the right way forward when "the beginning" comes at the end. It's all quite appropriate given the level of mind-muckery that the Doctor Strange movie is targeting.
Directed by Scott Derickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange will release in UK cinemas on October 25, 2016 before opening in the US on November 4, 2016.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
