Doctor Who conceptual designer Peter McKinstry has launched a new site spotlighting some his brilliant artwork from the show, as well as his work on Torchwood and Harry Potter. McKinstry has worked on Doctor Who since season two, and on the site you can see design concepts for everything from props (including the Master’s ring) to sets (the observatory from "Tooth and Claw) and special effects (The Shadow Proclamation). There's also McKinstry’s strikingly different design for the Cybermen (when they came back, production designer Ed Thomas encouraged everybody on the art team to pitch in with ideas). There's tons to browse through (with the promise of many more pieces on the way), so pop along to www.petermckinstry.com/ and enjoy.
