Dollhouse actor Harry Lennix joins Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel
He'll play a military man in the Superman reboot
Harry Lennix has joined the cast of Man Of Steel , according to a report by Variety.
The actor, best known for his roles in The Matrix sequels and Joss Whedon's TV show Dollhouse, has signed on to play General Swanwick, a high-ranking military officer in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot.
Lennix has the kind of don't-mess-with-me glare and growly tones that would make him a perfect fit for this kind of role.
It's also pleasing, from an action perspective, to see that the military will be getting involved with Supes' latest adventure.
Snyder has already assembled quite the cast for Man Of Steel , with Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe among the names that have signed on.
The reboot is produced by Christopher Nolan, who came up with the story alongside screenwriter David S. Goyer ( Batman Begins ).
Man Of Steel is expected to arrive in cinemas in December 2012.
