Dominic Cooper confirms Warcraft involvement
“The whole project is just massive”
Dominic Cooper has become the latest star to sign on for Duncan Jones’ Warcraft adaptation, with the star confirming his involvement during a recent interview with Collider .
Legendary recently released a couple of press releases confirming Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky, but had yet to set Cooper’s name in stone.
“I’m going off to do a film called Warcraft ,” said Cooper in the interview. “I can’t wait. I’m so excited to work with [ Duncan ] and the whole project is just massive and kind of exciting.
“It’s really, really cool... really good script,” continued Cooper, before confirming that shooting is set to take place in Vancouver. “It’s a very long shoot!”
Specific plot details remain close to Jones’ chest at this stage, but we should be in for a fantasy spectacular, with all sorts of orc vs. human mayhem to look forward to.
Warcraft opens in the US and UK on 11 March 2016.
