Don't Starve devs working on space colony sim Oxygen Not Included
Klei is an independent studio known for crafting smart, charming, and gorgeous games in whatever genre it tackles, whether it's stealth action in Mark of the Ninja, the macabre crafting in Don't Starve, or the cyberpunk strategy in Invisible, Inc. Klei's next title seems to continue that trend, as its next title, Oxygen Not Included, was announced today at the PC Gaming Show.
A very brief teaser was shown, so not much is known about the title. The trailer calls it a 'colony simulator', and it looks similar to games like Startopia or Dungeon Keeper, only from a side-on viewpoint. You'll manage an space station on an asteroid, where you'll guide your colonists and help them build and survive in the cold vacuum of space.
Looks like it'll be launching some time in late 2016 or early 2017 according to the trailer, though the Steam page has it currently listed with a release date of May 9, 2017.
