OK, so the Batman universe isn't exactly the first place you'd head to in order to deliver a brand new First Person Shooter, but F.E.A.R. creator Monolith have done a bloody good job of doing just that with Gotham City Impostors.
This free beta gives you a taste of the frantic online shooter, that's more Team Fortress 2 than the po-faced Modern Warfare. The humour heavy FPS sees you bouncing on trampolines to reach roof tops, hang-gliding into battle and even customising your own superhero for that personal touch.
Check out the launch trailer for further proof of it's charm...

Syndicate | PS3/360 | Price: £Free
The perfect opportunity to see if EA and Starbreeze have screwed over the original series. Try out the online co-op mode of this futuristic shooter to see if it can persuade (geddit?) you to buy it.

We always felt that Ghost Trick was better suited to iOS while completing it on DS and now it's actually here. Become a ghost detective and manipulate items to find out who killed you.
