Dragon Wars gets a poster and a trailer
When lizards attack...
It’s been the summer of giant frakkin’ robots stomping all over LA in Transformers, and now it looks like giant frakkin’ lizards are out to cause a little chaos of their own in Dragon Wars.
It’s based on a Korean legend that foretells of giant creatures that were once harnessed by humanity for their own military needs stomping back to devastate the entire planet. A reporter named Ethan Kendrick (Jason Behr) is tasked with investigating what sounds like a wild story, and he discovers that a girl named Sarah (Amanda Brooks), who has come down with a mysterious illness, is the key to stopping the warring reptiles from wiping out the human race in their conflict. Question is, can he get her to LA in time to save us all?
America will get to enjoy big lizard carnage in September, and while there’s no set UK date yet, we’ll be sure to let you know when it lands. Or, you could just look out for reports of bloody great monsters stepping on your local shops.
Meanwhile, Shocktillyoudrop.com has the poster here , while IGN has snagged the US domestic trailer for download here .
