Drawn to Life blowout
We bring you exclusive video, screens... and this interview
GR: Please talk about the three main Raposa.
SR: The three main characters are Mari, Jowee and the Mayor. They are thefirst characters you meet and the story revolves mainly around them. Since you play the Creator, you have answered Mari's cry for help to rebuild the village and rescue the Raposa.
GR: Can you talk about what they mean to the gameplay?
SR: The goal of the game is for the Creation Hero to rescue all the Raposa, safely return them to the village, and defeat Wilfre. As the village population is restored, you advance the story and learn more about the characters. These rescued villagers also unlock a wide variety of locations and options including the game's store, mini-games, drawing challenges and more!
GR: Where did the idea to draw your own characters and items come from?
SR: There's strong appeal to the idea of drawing your own character and the world in which you play. Everyone I've talked to about the game is immediately intrigued by the concept and wants to get their hands on it. The Nintendo DS' greatest strength is the touch screen and stylus. 5TH Cell identified that, and developed a robust game concept around it.
