In Rio- go to the building to the right of the police station (building with barbed wire on top). It is just north from the top right corner of the body of water "Lagoa Radrigo de Fretas". Go to the back of the building. As you face South, there is a door on the right corner of the building. Walk up to it and press triangle. You can then access this cheat by going to the secrets section of the game.

PS1 | Submitted by A.J.SmouhaRio - Semi-Truck
As you look at the Rio map, you will see a little hump at the very top (drive like you are going to go jump off the boat). Right in the middle of the hump looking North you will see a building (there is only one building). To know you are in the right place, there is a fence on either side. On the West (left as you face North) of the building is a fence that has two white links, and then turns to black. The first white link part of the fence is the gate. As you look North at the building, the switch is to the right. If you reach the fence on the right, you have gone too far.

Hello fellow drivers.
Here's a tip on how to obtain extra vehicles and an extra game for driver 2.
Here is what to do in following order.
1. Car in Chicago
Take a ride in Chicago (a yellow sports car).
Go to the baseball stadium (marked with a big B on your map)
When you are standing in front of the gate go to the opposite side of the stadium.
There is a ticket booth marked "tickets".
Walk towards it and press triangle.
The gate will open.
Enter the stadium and walk up the stairs on your right.
Then just follow the path till it leads underground.
A car will be waiting for you (a sports car).
enter it and drive out of the stadium.
(after you did all that just exit the game and go to the options menu to save your settings so that next time you play driver 2 you can use the car directly)
2. Car in Havana (a white mini cooper).
Take a ride in Havana.
Look at the map of Havana.
You will see a dead end road at the most left side of the map.
Drive down to that location.

Facing the closed gate take a right over the grass till you see three thin trees appearing near the wall.
A control pad is near there.
Get to the control panel and press triangle.
The gate will open and you can enter the sub-terrainian compound.
It is really a bit of a maze but it shouldn't be to difficult to find the car (a mini cooper).

To obtai this car you will have to drive south to Tropicana.

enter the yard and look for the blue pickup truck.
4. An extra game in Rio de Janero (horseracing with cars).
Take a ride in Rio.
Look at the map.
North of the map you will see an oval shaped circle (indicated red as if it is a road).
You will see that there are no roads leading towards it.
Drive to the street nearest on the left side of the oval shaped circle and look for the main gate on the right side of the road.
get out of the car you are driving.
facing your back towards the gate get over the street and turn right.
after a short walk you should see a control panel.

There is a secret in Havana too. Look on the map and you will see a long windy bit of road that goes out to the west. Go along this road and you shall see a fenced off base. You can open it. Drive around the base and look for 5 or 6 trees very close to each other. Near this there is a switch. Press Triangle to flick the switch and the door swings open. take the first right then.
Go into the base and you get into an underground car park. Go to the bottom of the base and then flick the switch that is down there. The Mini will then descend for you to drive.

PS1 | Submitted by vinceSports Car in Havana
Drive to the tunnel at the west part of the city. Just before the tunnel there is a road on the left. Drive to the end of the road, there will be a wall. turn right into the grass until you find a meter (looks kind of like a parking meter). Get out of your car and while next to the meter press triangle. The secret area will be opened. get into the car and drive through the secret area (ignoring the left turns). Drive to the end, turn right and follow it down making continuous left turns. When you reach the bottom, turn left, right, and left again. follow that tunnel down to the end and the car is on a risen platform. There is a switch on the right. This will allow you to lower the platform. get in the car and wait to be risen to above ground.

PS1 | Submitted by GamesRadarDrive police cars and fire trucks
Its says in the instruction booklet that you cant drive police cars but if you find one parked along the road walk up and press Triangle and get in to it and you will be able to drive the car. Also in Chicago if you look hard enough you should be able to find a fire truck if you do stop it! Ive played the game many times and ive only seen it once. If you get these cars press the horn button and the sirens will sound.
