Drizzt, Spawn, and Elder Scrolls creators team up for new RPG
Roll a d20 to save versus hyperventilation NOW!
EA has just announced a publishing partnership with 38 Studios to publish a single-player RPG codenamed Project Mercury for the PS3, 360 and PC platforms.
Project Mercury takes place in a universe created by R.A. Salvatore, with Todd McFarlane providing artistic direction. The game is being developed by Big Huge Games (Rise of Nations, Catan) with Ken Rolston (Morrowind, Oblivion) at the helm. Salvatore and McFarlane are also collaborating on 38 Studios’ upcoming MMO Copernicus, and it appears likely that Project Mercury will take place in this same universe. With such an impressive roster, we can’t help but have high hopes for Project Mercury.
Project Mercury was also the codename of the United States’ first manned spaceflight program, so we’re expecting a rich mix of fantasy and science fiction. Read more about the world of Copernicus and check out some pretty wallpapers at 38 Studios’ website.
