DSi launch week countdown!

Nintendo's DSi, the third iteration of the DS hardware, is released in the UK on Friday, April 3 (April 5 in the US). To celebrate, we've got a week's worth of content for you to enjoy over on ourcountdown calendar. A new video will be available every day, showcasing a specific feature of the new hardware. But because we're nice, we've got a sneak peek at the schedule, right here.

Day 7: Console overview
See the DSi's new features, from the bigger screen right through to the new browser and online shop.

Day 6: Cameras and filters
A demonstration of the DSi's two (count 'em) digital cameras, including its ability to show you what your children would look like!

Day 3: Music player and sounds
On the eve of launch day, we take an in-depth look at the system's built-in media player and examine the audio manipulation features, including the ability to convert any music track into 8-bit styled beeps and bloops.
