Dumb And Dumber To gets an official release date
Opens in the US on 14 November 2014
Dumb & Dumber To has been awarded an official release date by Universal, with the studio planning for the sequel to hit US screens on 14 November 2014.
That will put the film in direct competition with David Ayer’s WW2 drama, Fury , just one week before the release of the penultimate Hunger Games film.
The film also has a new official logline, with the studio blurb reading as follows:
“Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To .
"The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.”
Carrey and Daniels will be joined by co-stars Laurie Holden and Rob Riggle, with a number of big-name stars also expected to make cameo appearances. The countdown starts now…
