Trendy Entertainment’s newest title Dungeon Defenders has got a sweet package thanks to some help from Valve. By pre-ordering the toon shaded tower defense game on Steam, you’ll get an Aperture Science’s portal device for the huntress hero class and four Team Fortress 2 familiars to assist your team.
What’s so useful about a Portal gun when it’s not part of a first person puzzle game? Besides using it to take shortcuts across maps, you can line up your portals to shoot enemies from a safe distance. And what about those tiny TF2 characters? Heal your allies during battle with The Medic, repair towers with The Engineer, set opponents on fire with The Pyro, and shoot attackers from afar with The Heavy’s Gatling gun. If you preorder Dungeon Defenders on Steam before the October 19 release date, you’ll end up with this exclusively awesome DLC plus 10% off the normal price.
