Spiritual successor to the brutally difficult Demon’s Souls to release on Oct 4 in North America and October 7 in Europe
The games industry has spoiled us. For years, we’ve had our hands held through interactive tutorials, bracing us for mildly challenging playthroughs on the ‘normal’ difficultly level. That’s why we loved 2009'sDemon’s Souls, an action RPG that brought back the brutal boss battles and killer levels that demanded nothing less than perfection – and that’s why we’re excited about Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls, which is now scheduled to release on October 4 in North America and on October 7 in Europe.
