Echoes of Faydwer - hands on
Bursting at the seams with new content, this expansion will keep real life at bay
As if the new race, huge-ass continent, tradeskills, raiding zones, quests, and customizable cloaks weren’t enough, Echoes of Faydwer also adds the Belief System to the mix. As you adventure through Faydwer you’ll encounter various NPC priests who are recruiting worshipers for the old Gods of Norrath. After choosing a God you’ll receive an altar for your home and open a new line of Deity quests. In addition to granting the usual experience and item rewards, completing these quests will grant you favor towards your God.
Think of favor as the currency of the Gods. You can use them to purchase miracles or blessings - brief but powerful spells. As you level up you can acquire larger altars which require less favor.
