Elizabeth Olsen is the darling of Sundance this year with her haunting turn as an ex-cult member in Martha Marcy May Marlene and as a terrorised girl in single-shot thriller Silent House .
But the actress told Total Film that she is unphased by comparisons to her sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley.
"I don't do the same things they do - we support each other differently. So I don't feel that shadow thing that the media assumes," the self-posessed 21-year-old said.
And she'll happily admit that her launch in Sundance is a calculated one to distance herself from the cult of celebrity.
"I never wanted to be part of that type of media. I'm an actor - I'm not a brand or personality so I'm happy to be part of Sundance cos that's where you want to be when you're part of something really special."
'Lizzie' also confirmed while in Park City that she's just sign up for Red Lights with Robert de Niro and the director of last year's Sundance breakout Buried , Rodrigo Cortes.
Looks like the acting degree at NYU Film School is paying off...
