Emily Blunt is a badass FBI agent in the new Sicario trailer
A new trailer has dropped for drug drama Sicario, in which Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin star as a trio of key players in the ongoing battle between Mexico’s drug cartels and the law enforcers attempting to take them down.
As soon becomes clear, the rules between right and wrong are highly blurred in a battleground presented here as a modern-day Wild West. One thing’s for sure… neither side is shy in using their weapons at the first sign of trouble.
Check out the new trailer, below…
There’s a fair bit of overlap here with footage we’ve seen before, but it’s much more snappily packaged, with a pulse-quickening soundtrack to accompany Emily Blunt’s badassery. More commercial then, but probably more appealing into the bargain. Directed by Denis Villeneuve and co-starring Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Donovan and Raoul Trujillo, Sicario will open in the US ON september 18 2015 and the UK on October 9 2015.
