Emily Blunt stars in first trailer for Sicario
The first trailer has arrived online for Sicario, Denis Villeneuve's new thriller starring Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who has her eyes well and truly opened when she is reassigned to America's war on drugs in Mexico.
Paired up with Josh Brolin's shadowy task force official, Blunt soon finds herself in way over her head in a violent and lawless part of the country, Meanwhile, it remains unclear just who's side her local "consultant" Benicio Del Toro is actually on…

There's a strong Traffic vibe about this one, while Blunt looks to have carried off the balancing act between vulnerable and badass with aplomb. Meanwhile, Del Toro and Brolin have "inscrutable" down to a fine art… Co-starring Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Donovan and Raoul Trujillo, Sicario will open in the US on 18 September 2015 and the UK a week later.
