Eragon stars raid MCM Expo
Star to unveil exclusive clips of fantasy flick at London show this weekend
Dragons, magical lands, forces of evil and wide-eyed children thrown into trouser-dampening adventures – sounds a lot like our Online Ed’s childhood [Oi - just because I have a day off, doesn't mean you can keep slipping in rude things about me...] but in fact, it’s a sneak peak inside the world of Eragon the movie, adapted from Christopher Paolini’s best-selling novel.
We told you a little while back about the tale of a small boy who finds out he is one of an elite troop known as the Dragon Riders – who must fight to save their homeland from an evil King – well Fox have decided to provide those lucky people in London this weekend with a chance to get closer to the action.
The London MCM Expo event is being held at the London Excel in Docklands on 27/28 May 2006 and part of Saturday’s program will feature Ed Speleers, star of the movie, introducing exclusive and early footage from Eragon.
There will also be a chance to see the first public display on UK shores of the video game tie-in, plus a pile of other first-time goodies such as movie brochures and a glimpse into the fantasy world of Alagaësia.
