The Escapists: The Walking Dead is staggering onto PS4 in February
It's bad enough being in prison, let alone adding a horde of zombies into the mix. The Escapists: The Walking Dead mixes Robert Kirkman's undead packed graphic novel into traditional get out of jail Escapists gameplay and it's coming to PS4 on February 16th.
"Starting the game, you’ll take on the role of iconic protagonist Rick Grimes as he wakes up in the Harrison Memorial Hospital," explains Team17's Grant Towell on the PlayStation Blog. "This first tutorial level matches that very first issue of The Walking Dead comic, and sees Rick encounter his first walkers in the hospital."
"The levels follow the time line of the comics, seeing Rick travel to various locations such as the Greene Family Farm, Meriwether Correctional Facility, Woodbury and Alexandria. In fact, our game spans right up to around issue 83 of the comic!"
There's plenty of characters from the comics in there and there's still plenty of Escapists-style crafting to keep us busy as we try and keep compounds safe from the wandering undead. This adds to an already exciting PS4 release schedule in February when Layers Of Fear is also launching on the same day.
