Eva Mendes joins The Spirit
She’s signed to Frank Miller’s comic book pic
Appearing in the slightly dodgy Ghost Rider clearly hasn’t put Eva Mendes off comic book pics, as she’s just signed on to co-star in The Spirit for Frank Miller.
Gabriel Macht is starring in the movie, which finds him as a rookie cop returning from the dead to battle crime and face off against the evil Octopus (Samuel L Jackson) and Scarlett Johansson.
Mendes will appear as Sand Saref, the only woman who could break the spirit’s heart (it says here) a former sweetheart of our hero who was torn from him when her father was accidentally killed by the Spirit’s uncle. Tch… girls, eh? They break up with you over the smallest things!
She also, we’re told has “dangerous curves”, and we think they mean that dodgy patch near the B666 in Little Shitley.
Miller cranks his cameras next month in New Mexico.
