How Nintendo's pocket beauty can help you cook, play Guitar, brain up
Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06
Not so much a guitar tutorial as a replacement for the actual instrument. Wereviewedthis one a couple of months ago, and as we still think it's a brilliant toy, well... any excuse to get strumming again.
The touch screen becomes the guitar "strings" and the D-pad is used to select different chords. You can only use chords from a preset list, and - disappointingly - it doesn't have the right ones to play "Wonderwall," which has ruined our chances of ever getting ourselves a free lunch in the town center.
But it's the kind of thing you can just lose yourself in, for hours and hours. Combine it with the drum kits from Rhythm Tengoku on GBA and maybe a little of Electroplankton, and you'll have an effective Nintendo-powered band. There's an English version, with enhancements such as a save mode, due in the summer.
