Evidence gathers on "Wrath of the Lich King"
Name of expected second WoW expansion filed with US Patent and Trademark Office
We still await the official word from Blizzard, but evidence is speedily gathering on a second World of Warcraft expansion which the developer is expected to reveal at its BlizzCon event, which starts tomorrow.
The latest news on the expansion concerns Blizzard filing the name “Wrath of the Lich King” with the US Patent and Trademark Office, fansite BlizzPlanet reports. It's expected the new expansion will open up the Northrend Continent in the MMORPG.
Earlier today, news broke on aleaked FAQ for what is suspected to be the next WoW expansion. The FAQ included information on a Death Knight hero class, a level cap increase to 80, siege weapons and destructible buildings in PvP, hundreds of new recipes, and "thousands" of new items.
So... come on Blizzard, spill the beans.
