Trapper Tips
Tag and Bag
Map: Any
Hunter: Abe (Trapper)
Once Abe traps the Monster in the Mobile Arena, pay close attention to when the Arena is about to drop and hit the Monster with a Tracking Dart just before it goes down. By the time the dart wears off the Arena will almost be recharged, so stay on the Monster's heels to keep bringing the pain.
Stasis Lob
Map: Any
Hunter: Abe (Trapper)
Abe can use a jetpack boost to dodge forward and throw a stasis grenade, which will inherit some of that moment and allow it to travel even further, possibly to slow down a Monster that would otherwise be out of range.
Hiding Sensors
Map: Any
Hunter: Griffin (Trapper)
Most players just plant sensors out in the open, which are easy to spot and destroy. Hiding them in corners or hard to reach places can conceal them or make it much more time consuming for a Monster to stop and destroy them. If they are hard to reach, their destruction would definitely be a sign of the Monster, rather than wildlife like Reavers coming along to destroy them.
Dog Food

Hunter: Maggie (Trapper)
Allow the Monster to kill Daisy to get the Dropship Timer started before using the Mobile Arena and picking a fight. If anyone falls they will be back faster than normal, as long at they don't miss the window of opportunity.
Swivel Pivot Plant
Map: Any
Hunter: Maggie (Trapper)
While running from a Monster, Maggie can plant harpoon traps to try and slow down its pursuit. To be more effective with them, you should pass by corners then swivel to your right, plant it behind the corner you pass, and then turn back more to the left and move on. If the Monster is close, it may be turning left to chase you, but the trap would activate from the right - causing the Monster to stop and attack to the right, slowing it down momentarily.
Where Do You Think You're Going?

Hunter: Any (Trapper)
Sometimes its better to hold off on deploying the Mobile Arena until the Monster is about to make its retreat - this usually happens when the Monster is out of armour.
Alone In The Dome
Map: Fusion Plant, The Dam, Armoury, & Refuelling Tower
Hunter: Any (Trapper)
When the Teleport Gates Map Effect is active, if you need to get away from the Monster then find one of the Teleport Gates. When the Monster gets close enough, throw the Mobile Arena and enter the Teleport Gate. The Monster will be trapped by himself inside the Arena, allowing the Hunters to get away and complete objectives or recover from a losing fight.
Taking One For The Team!
Map: Any Rescue
Hunter: Any (Trapper)
During a Rescue match, if you're the Trapper and the Monster is close but your team is far away, trap the Monster inside the Mobile Arena. Then a deadly game of cat and mouse begins, which 99% of the time results in the trapper dying, but if done correctly you will give your team enough time to get a group of survivors off of Shear.
