We need five finalists to come up on stage and take part in our first live Blastermind competition. They'll have to face tough interrogation to prove themselves the Blastermind champion.
So, how do you qualify? Simple. Just pop along to the SFX stand and pick up one of our Heat Sheets. It takes the form of a picture quiz to stop you Googling the answers on your iPhones. There are 25 very tough images to identify, and the people who identify the most will asked to come on stage. If we have more than five people with the highest scores there’ll be a quick tie-breaker round, and then we can get on with the main quiz.
To encourage you further, we have an extra special prize for each of the five finalists. Remember Red Dwarf Back To Earth? In episode two there was a cameo appearance from SFX! We designed a special cover for issue 181 just for use in the show. Only 50 copies ever went into circulation. And we have five of those special issues to award to the five finalists. Now that's what we call a collectible.
The overall winner will also get a goody bag and a ticket to the SFX Weekender next February. Plus, of course, an enormous glow of pride, and their picture in the mag.
