Explosive new clip arrives online from The Wolverine: watch now

The Wolverine has released a brand new clip online, in which Logan uses his mutant powers to rescue his prison guard from a B-29 bombing run.

Lest we forget, the ageless Wolverine has been around for quite some time, and this latest clip is a timely reminder of that fact.

Quite what Wolvie is doing in a Japanese prison remains to be seen, but it's nice to see that he can show a little humanity even to his captors.

Take a look at the new clip, below…

It's the first we've seen of Wolverine's bone claws, as opposed to the adamantium ones, but it looks as though they're almost as effective as the indestructible metal variety…

Directed by James Mangold and co-starring Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee and Rila Fukushima, The Wolverine will open in the UK on 25 July 2013.
