Faces of War hands-on

We get face-deep in this explosive WWII role-playing RTS
In addition to the expansive command menu, Faces of War plows a few important RPG elements into the mix as well. Each soldier has an individual inventory that is represented visually - and most importantly - spatially. Each soldier will only be able to carry one or two weapons, grenades and ammo. A heavy machine gun like the MG-42 will take up more room than a smallish MP-40 or Sten gun. This inventory becomes important because it stays with your soldiers from mission to mission, and the soldiers themselves stay with your platoon until they are killed.
