Grognak the Barbarian
There are 11 copies of Grognak's adventures to collect. Picking up the first one will unlock the Barbarian perk that increases critical hit damage with unarmed and melee attacks, while each subsequent issue will upgrade it.
Issue #01 Blood on the Harp - Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup
Welcome to the world of Grognak the Barbarian.
Wicked Shipping is just to the south of Sanctuary.
Pop into the small office on the side of the main building.
Inspect the desk along the far wall.
The comic is next to the terminal.
Issue #02 Cometh the Trickster - North of Andrew Station
Issue #02 is in an unmarked location, but it's simple enough to find.
Strike out to the north from Andrew Station.
Just up the road is a Joe's Spuckies. I guess if you're American, that isn't total gibberish.
Enter the partially destroyed house behind the diner with the bus sticking out of the roof and head upstairs.
Go into the bedroom at the top of the stairs.
The comic is on the mattress.
Issue #03 Jungle of the Bat-Babies - Sanctuary Hills
This will most likely be the first issue of the Grognak comic that you'll find.
The comic is located in Sanctuary.
Head back to the ruins of your house.
The third issue is on the kitchen counter.
Issue #04 In the Bosom of the Corsair Queen - Corvega Assembly Plant
This cover looks more Mills %26 Boon than barbarian adventure.
To the southeast of Sanctuary you'll stumble upon the Corvega Assembly Plant.
The Fallout 4 Repair bobblehead is on the roof so make sure you grab it before you head inside. It's possible that you'll swing by here on a quest to clear out the raiders, so make your way through the plant until you find their leader Jared on the top floor.
The comic is in the office he was holed up in, next to his terminal.
Issue #05 Demon Slaves, Demon Sands - Vault 75/ Vault 81
There are two places you can find this issue of Grognak.
The first is Vault 75.
The entrance to the vault is beneath Malden Middle School.
You'll find the admin access card to open the door to the Overseer's office in the room where we found the Fallout 4 Science bobblehead.
Use the Overseer's terminal to open the door to the bedroom and go on through.
The comic is on the bed.
The second place to find this issue is Vault 81, where you'll also find the Fallout 4 Medicine bobblehead.
Once you've sorted out Austin's problem, take a wander over to the classroom during a lesson.
You'll be asked to recount one of your adventures to the kids, who are much more bloodthirsty than they look. You'll be rewarded with the comic.
Issue #06 Enter Maula: War Maiden of Mars - Swan's Pond
This issue is very close to a behemoth with a bad temper, so watch your back.
Swan's Pond is right next to the Boston Common.
Head over to the bandstand, taking care not to get too irradiated from all of the barrels of nuclear waste.
The comic is next to the skeleton on here.
Issue #07 Fatherless Cur! - Mass Pike Interchange
There are some pretty tough Gunners guarding this issue as well as a few turrets.
Mass Pike Interchange is to the southeast of Fort Hagen.
Head over to the shack.
You can summon the lift from here that will take you up to the road above.
Hop off the lift to the right and head toward the metal hut.
The comic is sitting on the toilet in here.
Issue #08 Lost in the Snows of Lust - Back Street Apparel
It looks like Grognak's twigged that lust and subzero temperatures don't mix from his cover pose.
Enter the building and go straight to the back of the room.
Head through the door here and up the stairs to the next floor.
You'll pop out into a room with a red sofa in the middle.
The comic is on the coffee table.
Issue #09 In the Lair of the Virgin Eater - Hyde Park
Virgins. When will they catch a break?
Hyde Park is in the southeast area of the map.
The quickest path to the comic is through the hole in the wall next to the Nuka Cola sign.
Follow the stairs up to the roof.
Go around to the right and up steps.
The comic is behind the red armchair to the right.
Issue #10 What Sorcery is This? - Museum of Witchcraft
The last issue of Grognak the Barbarian is guarded by a levelled Deathclaw.
The Museum of Witchcraft is over on the east side of the map.
Enter the museum via the doors to the basement around to the right of the building.
It's a linear path up to the top floor where the Deathclaw is patrolling.
There's a table along the left wall.
The comic is on here.
