Fan-made Assassin's Creed video catches Ubisoft's eye

Most fan-made videos are destined for lives of internet obscurity, but thanks to a recent tweet from an Ubisoft employee, YouTuber hamps19's music video homage to Assassin's Creed is about to go viral.

Entitled 'Beautiful Lies,' the video is a slickly produced mash-up of gameplay from three Assassin's Creed games accompanied by B-Complex's powerful techno-track of the same name. Released on Saturday, the video received a spike in attention today when Ubisoft Montreal's Community Manager, Gabriel Graziani (GR alumni!) tweeted, “WOW! Everyone has been tweeting this amazing fan-made video today... and with good reason. It's EPIC!!”

We have to agree. Check it out:

Ubisoft gets points for paying tribute to one of its fans' creations instead of attacking them with trademark lawyers. Unfortunately, it also loose points for failing to patch Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's game breaking glitch this long after the game's launch. Perhaps its best to just call it even for today...?
