Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them 2 has already been penned by J.K. Rowling
One of the bigger films yet to be released this year is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the highly anticipated Harry Potter spin-off which stars Eddie Redmayne as eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander. It's the first of a planned trilogy for the series, and J.K. Rowling has already completed the script for the sequel.
While at The Legend of Tarzan premiere, David Yates told GSNews that "We’ve done the first one, and she’s written the second one, she’s got ideas for the third one".

"When we adapted the books you would always have to leave out things that you hated leaving out because they didn't quite work within the structure of the storytelling for the movie or the movie would just be far too long”, Yates continued. "With this it’s just pure Jo from the first page to the last page".
Warner Bros won't want to waste too much time between sequels, so it makes sense that plans for the sequel are already quite far along. We'll probably have a better idea of what's in store for that film once we get a look at Fantastic Beasts later this year.
Directed by David Yates and starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Gemma Chan, Ron Perlman, and Ezra Miller, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled to hit UK and US cinemas on November 18, 2016.
