Fantastic Four script complete as actors test for roles

After months of speculation about the reboot of The Fantastic Four , we now have word that not only is the script complete, but Fox are starting to test actors to make up the superhero team.

According to Variety , writer Simon Kinberg has now turned in his final draft, and actors will begin testing for the roles of Reed Richards and Sue Storm.

Actors in the frame for the stretchy Mr Fantastic role include Miles Teller, who recently confirmed that he would test for the role “in the next few weeks”, as well as Game Of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Richard Madden.

Meanwhile, Kate Mara and Saoirse Ronan are reportedly testing to play Sue Storm.

Chronicle star Michael B. Jordan had been all-but-confirmed to play Johnny Storm (a.k.a. The Human Torch) but he will still have to test with other actors first to make sure that the chemistry is there.

There’s no word yet on who will play Ben Grimm (a.k.a. The Thing).

Chronicle director Josh Trank is in charge of the film, which is currently set for a 19 June 2015 release date.
