Fantasy medieval brawler Warhaven introduces Blade and shows off more of its intense PvP gameplay in a new trailer
And confirms a new Early Access release date, coming very soon
Following on from its amazing demo as part of Steam Next Fest, medieval team-based brawler Warhaven has a brand new trailer and a seriously close Early Access Release date.
Super easy to pick up and play, Warhaven matches you up with a squad of allies before sending you rushing into battle to best your foes with tactical genius and combat that lets you start making a dent in the front-line from your very first moments in the game, but will still provide veteran players with a way to show off their mastery. Excel on the battlefield, and you'll have a chance to spawn as an avatar of the Immortals, using diving powers to dominate your foes.
But while you can dive straight into Warhaven's fast-paced battles, you'll also be able to uncover the stories behind its roster of soldiers, each of whom has a different reason to join the fight. The new trailer, which was released as part of Gamescom 2023 and which you can watch below, introduces Blade, who finds their way beneath the banner of Warhaven in an attempt to get revenge over those who betrayed him and split his family apart. As well as a look at the life that shaped this deadly soldier, you'll get to see him in action, fighting against the forces that stand in his way.
As well as learning more about Blade, you'll get another look at the chaos of combat and the amazingly detailed worlds that you'll be fighting for, and learn more about the powerful Immortals that can help swing the fight in your favor, and whose backstories shape the strengths that they bring to the battlefield.
Since Warhaven's demo in June, the game's developers have been hard at work improving the game, drawing on what they learned from Steam Next Fest to keep making adjustments ahead of the game's Early Access release, which will take place on September 21. To stay up to date with all of the changes coming to Warhaven before then, make sure to wishlist the game on Steam, and follow it on Facebook, Discord, and Twitter.
