Fast And Furious 7 moved back to April 2015
Release delayed by Paul Walker’s death
The tragic death of Paul Walker had seemed to have put Fast And Furious 7 on hold indefinitely, but Vin Diesel has announced a new release date for the latest entry in the popular franchise.
Diesel took to Facebook to reveal that the new film will be released on 10 April 2015, claiming that Walker would “want you to know first”.
The announcement was accompanied by a new image of Walker and Diesel from the film, the last scene the pair would shoot together.
“There was a unique sense of completion,” says Diesel, “of pride we shared in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come.”
Just how the new film will work around Walker’s absence remains to be seen, but it does at least seem as though a plan is back in motion.
