Just over a minute of brand new footage from Iron Man 2 has cropped up online .
A presentation of MSN Movies France, this new behind-the-scenes featurette boasts some awesome never-before-seen footage, as well as sound-bite interviews with Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Jon Favreau.
The mini-doc focuses on the sequence set in Monaco, in which Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash creates a catastrophic pile-up during a race fronted by Tony Stark.
“I’m the biggest fan of Iron Man , and the audience is waiting to see what we do next,” says Favreau. “And I will not let them down.”
Favs, we don't doubt it. The Monaco/Whiplash sequence looks like one hell of a thrill ride, and one that the rest of the film will certainly struggle to top. As Johansson says, it’s undeniably “off the hook”.
