Fast & Furious: Showdown listings leak Activision tie-in
Co-op heavy racer will likely ship before movie's May debut
A new Fast & Furious game appears to be on the way from Activision and NASCAR Unleashed developer Firebrand. Retail and listings and ratings spotted by our friends at CVG outed Fast & Furious: Showdown.
EB Games' listings for the game have since been removed, but they pegged its Australian release date on Wii U as May 15, and on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22; Fast & Furious 6 is scheduled to hit theatres on May 24.
Showdown will tie together the events of previous films with those of 6 through racing, hijacking, and shootouts segments. The game places a heavy emphasis on cooperation: each mission is playable with friends or AI teammates.
The Australian Classification Board posted a Mature rating for the title.
Looks like this isn't one of the licensed properties Activision is trimming this year.

Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo.
