Last month, FIFA lead producer David Rutter hinted that FIFA 14 will introduce new connected online features, although not at the expense of the single player game, which he said is still enjoyed by “a tonne of people”.
FIFA 13 sales surpassed 12 million between the game's release last September and the end of 2012, according to EA. More recently, FIFA became the first gaming brand to top the £1 billion mark at UK retail, beating Call of Duty to the milestone.
