Fragment 1 – Gogmagog Fragment Gamma – Received through part of the story after defeating Gogmagog.
Fragment 2 – Ultima Brand – Found inside the well at the abandoned village. It is a tough throw but get Mog inside it to receive this Fragment. The 2 on the map indicates its location.
Fragment 3 – Omega Brand – Located east of the Time Gate that you use to jump into this zone. It is floating above a small ledge. The 3 on the map indicates its location.
Fragment 4 – Chaos Brand – Found beside the red Chocobo to the east of the optional time gate. The 4 on the map indicates its location.

Fragment 1 – Heir To Chaos – Obtain the Paradox Scope skill and return to Noel's dream state. During his dream state begins make sure to activate the Paradox skill to alter history and when you enter the fight with Caius you will have a new battle. This new fight is much tougher but upon beating him you will open this new area and obtain a Fragment.
VILE PEAKS 10 AF
Fragment 1 – Twilight Fragment Alpha – After completing Fragment 3, you will obtain this quest. Kill the monster to receive the Fragment. The 1 on the map shows his location.
Fragment 2 – Baxter's Last Light – After entering the zone, take a few steps forward towards the tunnel. On the left will be a man out of synch. Synch him using Mog then speak with him to receive this Fragment. The 2 on the map indicates his location.
Fragment 3 – Ray's Last Light – Obtained by talking to Ray after completing Fragment 1 of Vile Peaks 200 AF. Ray is found on the right side of the map. The 3 marks his location on the map.
Fragment 4 – Sarge's Last Light – After completing Fragment 1, he will spawn a little ways away from the battle area. Follow the path heading left to find him. Talk to him to receive this Fragment. The 4 on the map shows his location.
VILE PEAKS 200 AF
Fragment 1 – Falcon's Compass – After talking to the Corporal, head back to the time gate and talk with Falcon again. After the conversation you will receive this Fragment.
Fragment 2 – Twilight Fragment Beta – After completing Vile Peaks Fragment 4, travel here, and go fight the boss. Kill him to receive this Fragment. The 2 on the map shows his location.
Fragment 3 – Torreno's Last Light – Upon warping into the zone, take a few steps and Mog will rush over to this guy. Synch him, then speak with him to receive this Fragment. The 3 on the map shows off his location.
Fragment 4 – Falcon's Last Light – Follow the southern path and you will encounter this man. Chase him down, and talk to him again to receive this Fragment. The 4 on the map indicates his location.
Fragment 5 – Thunder's Last Light – Reach the end of the path and talk to the soldier. After the conversation you will receive this Fragment. The 5 on the map is where he is standing.
Fragment 6 – Blitz Squadran Mission Report – After defeating the boss return to the time gate area and talk to the squad. You will receive this Fragment when the scene is done. The 6 on the map shows their location.
Fragment 7 – Words Of Light – After Fragment 6 Mog will sense something. Synch the shadow character and talk to her. Afterward you will receive this Fragment. The 7 indicates her location on the map.
Fragment 8 – Father's Song – After taking out the boss, a short walk down the path and you will see a shadowy figure. Synch him using Mog, talk to him and after the scene you will receive this Fragment. The 8 on the map shows his location.

Fragment 1 – Etro's Sorrow – Received through the story when you talk to Yeul for the first time.
Fragment 2 – Pulse's Resolution – Received through the story after talking to Yeul for the second time.
Fragment 3 – Lindzei's Desire – Received through the story after talking to Yeul for a third time.
Fragment 4 – Mwynn's Tenderness – Received through the story after talking to Yeul for a fourth time.
Fragment 5 – Bhunivelze's Sleep – Received through the story after talking to Yeul for a fifth time.

Fragment 1 – Chaos Crystal – Go to either vendor in the casino and buy this item using casino chips.
Fragment 2 – Setzer's Dice – Speak to any chip vendor in the casino to buy this item using chips.
Fragment 3 – Chocochick Down – Enter the Chocobo Race building and on the left side is a small chick you can examine. Do so to receive this Fragment.
Fragment 4 – Lucky Coin – This Fragment requires you to win a set amount of chips at the casino. The best bet is to use the slot machines. The exact number I can not say. I sat down and won 13k roughly and upon standing up received this Fragment. The number appears to be between 7777 and 10k you must win. I did it in one sitting also so it may or may not be possible to break it up. I suggest attempting it all in one sitting (don't zone out) and make sure you win at least 10k in chips.
Fragment 5 – Priceless Gift – Talk to either vendor in the casino and buy this item using casino chips.
